Our Bougie Journey
Bougie Coffee & Bistro was born out of a passion for building community around exceptional coffee and delightful food without pretense. We, Tim & Mindy, are a husband and wife team who obsess over high quality, scratch made food and beverage creations with scratch made food and handcrafted specialty beverages with house-made syrups.

In 2024, the Bougie concept started as a private member association in Anderson. The City didn't love the concept so we moved to operating the food and beverage at Cobbs Glenn Country Club for a couple years and planned our return to Main Street. In February 2026 we will open our doors to Anderson, SC or wherever else you'd like to visit from!

What's Bougie all about?
"Bougie" comes from the French word "bourgeoisie", as a middle-class between the peasantry and aristocracy.
This came with access to the fancier elements previously only available to the elite.
Bougie has come to represent the little luxuries we can all enjoy in our free economy - and we want to share the best and bougiest we can with you.
